Yesterday I visited Pelham Vision Center to have some lenses replaced. Upon arrival I was informed that my prescription... was outdated and insurance would not cover for me to get new lenses. They checked to see how quickly they could get me an appointment with the doctor and it was going to be a couple weeks out; however, Shannon jumped into gear and they were able to work me in right then! I was then greeted by Taylor who was simply a sweetheart and she got me back for all the preliminaries. Finally, I was seen by Dr. Abbas who was the friendliest ever! I must say that the overall experience was above and beyond all expectations! Thank you all so much!read more

Great doc but terrible communication afterwards. Apparently my frames were on back order which I wasn't told until... after the expected delivery date. Multiple calls about contacts went unanswered. Took 6 weeks to get what I paid $300+ for. Too bad because I really liked the doc.read more

I went here yesterday for an eye exam to get a new prescription for my glasses and contacts. I had to reschedule... because one of the optometrists was out on maternity leave, but they still fit me in to accommodate my work schedule.The staff was very friendly. They also had coffee available if you wanted a cup. I had to do some tests before I saw the optometrist and that was easy. There was always someone with me the whole time, and when I waited for the optometrist to come, the staff checked in on me and let me know she was coming.The optometrist Dr Tanner was very professional and friendly. She did the most thorough eye exam I have ever had. She explained what was going on with my vision and how your sight works with astigmatism. She got me a pair of trial contacts with my new prescription and checked to see how they fit. (Never had that happen before) Well, they were not a good fit, so she got me a different kind with the new prescription and those worked out even better.After my eye exam was completed, I went to pick out a new pair of frames for my glasses and to order my new and improved contacts. The lady explained everything well about what frames I can pick out with my new prescription, and what was all covered with my insurance, and what I was responsible for paying. I tried on a few pairs and narrowed it down to four frames. She had me put them all on and helped me pick out what she thought looked the best on me. We both agreed on the final frames and she did a measurement so when the glasses come in, they should fit perfectly.I was just impressed with everyone and how friendly and professional everyone was from the moment I walked in and through the whole process. I will definitely recommend them to you, and will definitely be back next year for my next eye exam.read more

Doctor was great. Staff was not. They also do not have a lab on site meaning if I wanted new lenses I needed to... surrender my frames for 2-3 weeks...which I cannot do as I need them to see. Total waste of my time.read more

SPAMMERS!Somehow I got put on this companies email list even though I have never been a customer. (I live MANY states... away!!)I have begged for over a year to be removed. I have tried to unsubscribe (half the times, there is NO way to unsubscribe, the other half simply doesn't get the job done!!)I have reported them to the government spam office and this is my last option.If you value sanity and privacy, don't go to this office FOR ANY REASON.They obviously DO NOT CARE about their customer, or potential customer.read more

Fantastic doctor, terrible staff. I had an appointment earlier this year, turned in all paperwork early, showed up... to the appointment after taking off work and they told me at that time they didn't take my insurance. Went home to talk to my insurance carrier and benefits coordinator and it turns out they are listed as in-network with my insurance so I don't know why I was turned away. I have sent emails, resubmitted appointment requests online and left voicemails since then to try to get another appointment and have not gotten any response. I give up.read more

Very disappointed. I showed up to my appointment and was informed that they have to reschedule to 2 months later due to... being short staffed. I understand things come up, but they never called to reschedule before I showed up. I wasted 60minutes in the car to drive there and sick time from work. Terrible management, there are enough other eye doctors in the area, will be looking for a new place and recommend this to anyone who was treated like I was today.read more

Charged me more to check my eyes after my surgery than before the surgery. Then wanted me to come back in two weeks.... This place will bleed you dry, especially if you are a self pay.read more

The people and the technology used here are great. I have never had an eye exam this extensive before. They let me... know what I could do about getting better vision. The staff was efficient and friendly. Word of mouth worked well for me. I recommend Pelham Vision Center to anyone wanting great eye care.read more
